I'm Elclark. I build fast web apps, poke at binary formats, and wire code up to physical hardware.

I'm a software engineer who likes figuring out how things tick under the hood. Most days you'll find me bouncing between TypeScript, SvelteKit, C++, and C#—whether that's unpacking proprietary game clients, making room sensors talk to my desktop monitor, or running tiny machine learning models locally. Still can't solder to save my life, though.

A bit about me

I like building things that feel fast and figuring out how stuff works.

I started programming out of pure curiosity—poking at websites and scripts just to see what would happen if I changed a few lines. That habit never really went away; the rabbit holes just got deeper.

On the web side, I love working with SvelteKit and TypeScript to build interfaces and edge APIs that feel snappy without layers of ceremony. When JavaScript hits a wall, I drop down into C++ or C#—writing FFI bridges, transcoding binary media streams, or talking directly to Windows hardware APIs.

Whether it's a web app running on Cloudflare Workers, a local SQLite database, or a daemon chatting with physical sensors over WebSockets, I'm happiest when all the pieces click together cleanly.

Projects & deep dives

A few of my favorite rabbit holes—usually born out of "I wonder how that works" or "I can probably automate this."

Reverse Engineering & Media Pipeline

Game Asset Unpacker & Research Engine

An automated pipeline I built to unpack, decrypt, and inspect layered proprietary game clients—paired with a fast SvelteKit search and lore browser.

Game updates ship with layers of encrypted catalogs, binary tables, and proprietary audio/sprite containers. Rather than unpacking things by hand every patch, I wrote a pipeline that emulates the launcher protocol, cracks open encrypted SQLite catalogs, and uses C++ FFI modules to transcode 2D skeletal rigs into lossless WebP and remux FSB audio streams straight into Ogg.

Smart Home Bridge, DDC/CI Monitor Sync & Rain Predictor

My room’s sensor array and home automation hub that adjusts my physical monitor brightness based on ambient sunlight and predicts local rain in under a millisecond.

Getting blinded by my monitor at night (or squinting at noon) got old fast. I hooked up environmental sensors that stream room lux and atmospheric telemetry over WebSockets to a local bridge. A native C# (.NET 10) Windows daemon listens to that stream and talks directly to my monitor via hardware DDC/CI to dial in the backlight automatically—while an XGBoost model running on ONNX Runtime forecasts incoming Manado rain.

CLI Tooling & Dev Workflow

Repo Context Packer & SQLite Schema Extractor

A fast C++ CLI utility I wrote because manually copying files and database schemas when working with LLMs got way too tedious.

When debugging across a multi-file repo or a gnarly SQLite database, giving an LLM the right context without blowing up the token budget is a pain. This CLI walks the project tree in C++, respects gitignore rules, formats the codebase into clean Markdown, and automatically inspects SQLite files to dump clean relational definitions.
